Get Intense Legal Training at a Rock-Bottom Price

These sessions are a great way to stay on top of the current trends and, in some cases, earn continuing education (CE) credits.

Don't think of our 2018 convention as a "convention." Think of it as the cheapest deal in town if you want to earn CE credit, understand your legal risks and agents' liability, or learn the nuts and bolts of creating a real estate team. Legal Hotline lawyers will be onsite answering your questions too. We'd love to see you there!

There are several informative sessions taking place at the 2018 Florida Realtors Convention & Trade Expo., Aug. 8-9, in Orlando. These sessions are great way to stay on top of the current trends and, in some cases, earn continuing education (CE) credits. Be sure to take advantage of these courses! (Note: Some class schedules overlap, so prepare wisely.)

There's no additional charge for any of the education sessions listed below, including those that offer CE credit – they're included with the convention registration fee – $150 through July 6; $160 through July 30.

And don't forget that "Live from the Legal Hotline" will be there all day, giving you an opportunity to ask Florida Realtors attorneys questions face-to-face!

"Building a Successful Team" featuring Brad Korn

Learn how to minimize your liability as a property manager. You'll find out how you can run a smooth property management business, stay in complete control and compliance, and properly use the most important tools – forms and notices. "Code of Ethics: Our Promise to Professionalism" featuring Sylvia Golden Norris

What does it mean to be a professional, and how do you help customers and other Realtors maintain those standards? This CE course helps you identify and take steps to eliminate practices that may damage the public or discredit or bring dishonor to the real estate profession. (3 hours CE credit)

Note: Realtors are required by NAR to complete Code of Ethics training every two years. The current two-year cycle began on Jan. 1, 2017 and ends on Dec. 31, 2018. Failure to meet this requirement may result in the suspension of your membership and subsequent termination. This class meets the NAR-mandated requirement for completion of the Code of Ethics training.

"Procuring Cause – Who Gets the Money" featuring Bruce Aydt
